阅读篇:

总体而言,阅读一个小时的做题时间是比较紧张的。要合理安排利用好这一个小时,对于答题顺序、答题速度和答题技巧有较高的要求。BEC中级阅读推荐的答题顺序是4-5-1-3-2,也可根据自己的习惯,关键是合理分配,不要漏题!

阅读part1:7个句子配对题

先读7个句子,把主谓宾关系划出来。如果遇到不认识的单词,圈出来,看在之后的文章中是否会同样出现。然后快速阅读A、B、C、D四大部分,找出每一部分的中心,一般都是在句首或句尾。知道大概每段在讲些什么后,可以回到7个句子,找出与这一部分意思相近的句子。总体来说,这部分相对比较简单,控制做题时间,千万不要为了一道题而花太多时间。

阅读part2:6选5

对于大多数人而言,这是整个阅读中最难的一部分,建议将这部分放到最后做。答题技巧是::要从头开始读,有些同学为了节省时间,跳过了文章已给出的一个答案,直接找第一空,这点不建议。往往文章的主旨就藏在开头部分。在碰到空时,有联系上下句,在看选项中哪个句子填进去能使文章更加通顺,把可能符合的情况都填在空里,再结合下面的填空进行排除删选。同时要注意句子的逻辑关系,比如转折,递进,举例。这将方便判断最终答案。

阅读part3:阅读选择题

题型比较熟悉,难在阅读量大。阅读文章时,句首句末的句子要精读,很可能就是关键句,要格外重视。如果遇到让人比较纠结的选项,可以进行逆向思维用排除法。这部分题型并不陌生,建议尽量控制做题时间。

阅读part4:完形填空

完型填空也是熟悉的题型,建议放在第一部分做,树立信心。要注意的是动词时态、单复数、词组固定搭配,还有就是根据词义和上下文进行选择。这部分比较简单,是抓分的题型。

阅读part5:改错

一定要提醒大家的是:改错题的答案所有字母都要大写,而不是首字母大写,否则一律算错!这部分不难,要特别注意名词单复数、动词时态、冠词、代词的使用是否正确。

写作篇:

总体而言,BEC中级写作45分钟的考试时间是绰绰有余的,大家要尽量保持卷面整洁、字体工整、没有语法错误、逻辑结构清晰。如果时间充裕的话,可以适当地列个提纲,但是不建议先打草稿再誊写。

写作part1:小作文

这部分要求大家写40-50个字的便条、留言、备忘录或电子邮件。

首先要认真审题,确定题目要求。可以根据考题中给出的三条提示,paraphrase一下,但要保证没有语法错误。尽量不要使用缩写或简写,比如I’m应该要把它写成I am。控制字数,小作文要求的字数在40-50字左右,多写或少写都会被扣分。还有一点要特别注意,就是作文的语境,如果是上级写给下级,语句可以非正式些,但要是下级写给上级,那么语句就要正式些。

写作part2:大作文

这部分要求大家写一篇120-140的商务函件、短篇报告或建议。

大作文的备考,如果可以的话,最好每种题型都练习一遍。可以根据真题后提供的范文来熟悉掌握基本的写作模板和常用的商务用语、句式。此外,在答题时要注意格式(要有总标题和副标题)如:Introduction、Findings、Recommendation、Conclusion等。还要明确读者身份、写信目的:是处理投诉类、抱怨类、还是是咨询类?等等。
