BEC听力的难度一方面是因为它的语速快;另一方面,信息量太大。除了这两方面的因素之外,还有题目设置的原因,拿第一部分来讲,BEC考你的不是听写,出题者会变换句式,你不知道空里面的那个要填的词汇什么时候出现。BEC是英国剑桥大学主考的考试,所以说在听力部分中你听到的发音都是标准的英音,当然在一些模拟题中还会有非英语母语者的发音,如法国人,西班牙人等等的,但是在真正的考试中极少出现。听力的练习就要熟悉英音的发音规则,发音特点,对于这些熟悉之后才能真正深入了解听力材料的内容。


BEC听力第一部分


在听力录音播放之前,要迅速浏览题目,猜测可能填的内容,注意单词的正确形式、单词字数的限制。平时准备的时候要仔细体会录音中经常出现的同义转述。当然,最最基本的单词拼写不能出丝毫差错,这是一个人的学习素养问题,如果经常出现最最基本的拼写错误,考官无论如何都不会相信你有真正的英语应用能力,更不用说BEC高级了。


BEC听力第二部分


最难的一部分,也是最能考查英语听力水平的一部分。建议在听第一遍录音的时候两个部分的题目都做,当然第一遍做不完太正常了,第二遍做完的题检查确认,没做完的题赶紧补充。做题的时候,根据说话者的语气有时候也能推测出一些信息,这些都会有帮助。但是一定要注意题目故意设置的pitfalls,虽然说实话这些陷阱太具有迷惑性了。但是要通过考试就一定要尽力把每一部分做到最好,所以一定要加油要努力。


BEC听力第三部分


语速较快,几乎每一道题都有陷阱,听力材料的笔墨着力严重不均,其实也完全可以理解,因为BEC考查的正是排除干扰,获取有用信息的能力。平时训练的时候,对于听到的以下的短语和词组一定要格外注意,如:but / however / what I really mean is 等等。
