突破“哑巴英语”讲一口流利的英语

怎样突破哑巴英语?大家不妨一起想想这个概念：“哑巴”既是哑口无言，没有声响。它的反义词呢?――“说话”。所以我们首先要做的就是开口讲话。可是，讲什么，怎么讲?这也是口语初学者的巨大困扰。
首先我们分析一下大家不能脱口而出的原因所在。第一，发音不标准，怕被别人笑话;第二，单词不会，怕说不明白或别人听不明白;第三;语法不行，怕别人不屑一听。正是这样“三怕”的心理，削减了我们开口的动力;也正是这样的“怕怕怕”，拉开了我们与脱口而出，说一口流利英文的距离。所以，为突破哑巴英语，我们要做到“三不怕”。
第一，不怕发音不标准。我们不是一出生就有全英文的语言环境，若是能自然习得标准的英式或美式发音，那便是天方夜谭。然而我们已谙熟于中文的发音和使用，怎能轻易就改变了口腔的运动方式发出纯正的英音或美音呢?因为中文和英文的发音位置和方法存在诸多的差异。不妨看看老外学的中文。一次我问一个外教朋友：“中国给你的第一印象是什么?”她用蹩脚的中文说道：“中国人(run)非常友好(how)。”他们会把“人”和“好”分别读成类似的英文发音“run”和“how”，原因是他们的口腔运动造成了美式的中文发音，而要讲出标准的中文，是需要方法加练习加坚持的。试问大家，当老外讲出这么蹩脚的中文的时候，你有笑话她发音不标准吗? 没有。原因是，我们第一时间是在获取她讲话的内容，如果听得懂，那么她的语音是正确的，但是不标准，是不会有大的误差的;但是如果内容你根本听不懂，那么一定是她的语音不正确，就更不标准了。中国人学英文同理可证。所以我们要把正确的英文讲出来，让外国人获取我们语言的内容，在有精力和虚心的同时，将语音练得标准。
第二，不怕单词不会。其实这一点大家尽可不必担心。一个美国的农民，可以自如地应对每天的日常交流，他的词汇量――800个就够了。而我们每个人的词汇量都远远超出了应对日常交流的水平，只要你将现有的知识激活，讲出来，这些就变成了你收获，也便找回了学习英语的自信。但是大家学习英文的理想就是成为美国的农民吗?当然不是，所以，为了成为一个well-cultured 人才，我们要不断地扩充自己的单词量，以应对各种场合和各类事物。背单词是个漫长而又循序渐进的过程，每一个热爱英语的人都应人手必备一个单词本，8毛钱厚度的即可，方便携带、记忆，且很快记满，容易看到自己的成就。左面英文，右面汉字。这样就可以自己测试自己了，总是盖上一面说出另一面。每天都标上日期，以示自己的心路历程。无论你是在电影中学到的，还是读书笔记，还是在逛街时看到的，统统计入当天的栏目，晚上入睡前看一遍，早上起来再看一遍，因为这两个时间段的记忆力最好。这样日积月累的坚持下来，你无需措手不及的背诵四六级词汇书，就可以应对考试中的生词了。量的积累带来了质的飞跃。
第三，不怕语法不行。口语中涉及到的语法都极为简单，所以这一点非常不足以成为你不开口讲英文的理由。老外朋友经常给我发短信，邀我6：30的时候到她家见面，还担心太晚。于是乎，她的短信过来了：“How about we meet at my house at 6:30? Is that too late for you?”你会惊异地发现，看过老外的版本和你的几乎不差几个字。对的，不要怕语法好与不好，先讲出来，让对方了解你讲话的内容。老外去食堂吃饭时讲的中文就更离谱了，两个字搞定一顿饭：“这个。”(同时伸出两个v字型的手指――二两的意思)，一饭一菜。她的“外语”连语法都谈不上，但谁又能说这样不行?所以在大家首先要做的，就是大胆的讲出来，没有对错，没有行与不行，只有“我”才行。
