商务英语(BEC)中级口语考试简介

商务英语口语考试大多是在考试当天的下午进行,也有少数是在第二天进行,具体要看准考证上的时间安排,考生两人或三人一组进行考试,考前要选择好搭档。

搭档选择的方式主要有以下几种:第一种是考场内考号相邻的考生为一组;(考号的安排是按照姓氏的汉语拼音顺序。姓艾的在前面,姓张的在后面。)第二种是考生在考场内自由选择,没有找到搭档的,由监考老师帮助分组。第三种是考生在考区内自由选择,没有找到搭档的,由监考老师帮助分组。具体的考试方式要看准考证上面的安排或者听监考老师的安排。每个考区会根据自己的情况灵活安排。

 

口语考试由两位考官(一位提问官,一位评分官)对两位或三位考生同时进行测试。提问官负责主持口试,并负责给每位考生的表现打总分,评分官负责对每一位考生的成绩进行分析评估。经过提问官的介绍以后,评分官就不再参与交流。

口试两人一组进行。两人的考试时间约14分钟,三人约20分钟。

 

考试由三部分组成:

第一部分,考官对每个考生轮流提问,问一些一般性问题,并不严格按照顺序进行。这部分考试时间为3分钟左右。主要考查考生自我介绍的能力,提供有关自己家庭、兴趣、学习和工作的信息,并表达如同意、反对或喜好等意见的能力。

第二部分是简短发言。考官给每位考生三张卡片,每张卡片上都有指定的话题。考生可以选择其中一张,用大约一分钟的时间准备一段持续一分钟的有发挥的简短发言。卡片上有两个提示要点,考生可以发挥第三个要点,以充实内容。每个考生讲完后,就会请他们的搭档对他所讲的内容提一个问题。考试时间为6分钟左右。考试的时候考生不可以互换卡片。互相不知道对方的话题, 所以考生要认真听考官讲话,考官会把考生要讲的话题说出来的。考官的指示语请看本文最后一部分。

第三部分是考生间讨论问题,(三个考生则采取三向讨论的形式)。考官给考生一个讨论题目,里面有关于主题的背景介绍和两个和主题相关的小问题。讨论前给考生30秒的时间阅读题卡要求,不可以写笔记,然后直接进入讨论,讨论时间是3分钟左右,考官可以进行恰当的引导。讨论结束后,考官会向两位考生提一些与主题有关的问题。考试时间总共为5分钟左右。

评分标准

每个考生的表现会被单独评分。参与对话的考官对于考生的表现会做全面的评估。不参与对话的考官对于考生的四项表现:语法和词汇,话语组织,发音和互动沟通能力进行单独评分。

语法和词汇

指的是对语法和词汇形式恰当运用的范围和准确性。BEC中级测试,需要一定程度的语法和词汇量。这一水平的考生应该相当准确并使用足够的适当词汇表达自己的意图。

话语组织

指每位考生个人谈话是否连贯,长度是否合适,是否切题。话语应足以符合BEC中级水平的要求。由于时间有限,有时候考生的谈话可能长度不当。

发音

指考生发出让人理解的声音的能力。在BEC中级水平,要求通过恰当使用重读、节奏、语调和清楚的单个发音来表达意思。尽管听者偶尔可能听起来费力。

互动沟通
