英语专业四级考试也称作英语专业基础阶段考试，考生必须是英语专业本科二年级学生。英语专业八级考试也称作英语专业高年级阶段考试，考生必须是英语专业本科四年级学生。

1.英语专业四级考试成绩一般在考试结束的五个月左右可以查询到，考试合格者将收到高等院校外语专业教学指导委员会发放的成绩册。成绩册会邮寄到考生的学校，再由学校分发给考生。英语专业四级考试合格分数为60分，成绩共分为三个等级，成绩达到60-69分则为考试合格;成绩达到70-79分则为成绩良好;成绩达到80分以上则为成绩优秀。
