国际注册内部审计师的成绩有效期是三年，但是它的成绩有效期不是从考生第一次参加考试开始计算，也不是从通过某一科考试开始计算，而是从资质审核通过、考生CIA考试获得“已批准”状态之日开始计算，考生需在3年内通过所有科目(如实际考试日期超出上述3年成绩有效期，则考试成绩无效)并完成工作经验验证，否则所有已通过科目成绩作废，认证申请失效。需重新提交申请和交纳申请费方可参加CIA认证。2019年第四次考点资质审核时间结束前完成审核的考生，成绩有效期为4年。如有需要，考生可在CCMS中选择延长成绩有效期，延长期限为1年，费用为275美元，该功能只能在“已批准”状态下使用1次，无法重复使用。

国际注册内部审计师考试结束后，IIA会整理本期考试通过的人员名单中国内部审计协会统一安排印制英文证书，证书印制完成后，分发至各考点，然后考生领取证书。

CCMS考生主页已出现“我的CIA认证”，并显示“认证ID#”后即可领取证书。如果考生已在考试成绩有效期内达成所有认证要求，但两周后主页仍没有显示“我的CIA认证”及“认证ID#”等信息，请尽快与中国内部审计协会联系(电话：010-82199868)。

国际注册内部审计考试每科总分数为800分，取得600分或以上的考生通过考试。

国际注册内部审计师考试一共有三个科目，分别是：

科目一：内部审计基础

主要包含：内部审计基础、独立性与客观性、专业能力及应有的职业审慎、质量保证与改进程序、治理、风险管理和控制、舞弊风险。

科目二：内部审计实务

主要包含：管理内部审计活动、计划审计业务、执行审计业务、沟通审计业务结果并监督进展。

科目三：内部审计知识要素

主要包含：业务敏感度、信息安全、信息技术、财务管理。

考试有中文和英文两种语言选择，所以考生可在预约考试时选择中文或英文。
